FAQs
What is CBD?
In recent times, CBD has captured a lot of interest because of its potential therapeutic advantages. It is thought to possess properties that can reduce inflammation, alleviate pain, and provide relief from anxiety.
One of the key advantages of CBD is its non-psychoactive nature. This means that it does not produce the intoxicating effects typically associated with marijuana use. As a result, CBD can be used without impairing cognitive function or inducing a "high," making it a safer alternative for individuals seeking relief from pain and other symptoms.
It's worth noting that CBD products derived from hemp plants contain only trace amounts of THC, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and minimizing the risk of psychoactive effects. However, it is always important to ensure that CBD products are obtained from reputable sources and used according to prescribed guidelines.
As with any natural remedy or medication, it is advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before incorporating CBD into your wellness routine. They can provide personalized guidance based on your specific needs and medical history.
Overall, the non-psychoactive nature of CBD and its potential therapeutic benefits make it an appealing option for individuals seeking relief from common ailments without experiencing mind-altering effects.
Exploring CBD Safety: Uncovering Side Effects:
CBD, or cannabidiol, has been widely studied and is generally considered safe with no known serious side effects. However, as with any supplement or medication, individual responses can vary. Some users have reported mild side effects such as drowsiness, a light head, low blood pressure, and dry mouth.
It's important to note that CBD can interact with certain medications. If you are currently taking prescription medication, it is strongly recommended that you consult with your doctor before incorporating CBD supplements into your routine. Your doctor can provide personalized advice and guidance based on your specific medical history and the medications you are taking.
Discussing CBD use with your doctor is beneficial as they can help ensure that CBD supplements won't negatively interact with your current medications or underlying health conditions. They will be able to provide you with the most accurate information and help you make an informed decision about incorporating CBD into your wellness routine.
Remember, always prioritize your health and safety by seeking professional medical advice when considering any new supplement or medication.
Maximize the Benefits of CBD Supplements:
CBD has been shown in multiple studies to potentially aid with anxiety, epilepsy, pain, depression, seizures, sleep, neuroprotection, acne treatment, cancer control, and heart diseases.
CBD can be used topically and sublingually; it is important to follow the prescribed doses to ensure it is used within safe limits. CBD is now commonly being used in food, medicinally, vaping and creams. It is now becoming more and more popular in recent years due to its beneficial properties and is a more natural way of relieving common symptoms of pain and anxiety.
Discover the Science Behind CBD: Does it Cause a High?
No, CBD has had the THC extracted out of it during the Supercritical C02 infusion process. THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the illegal chemical within cannabis responsible for loss of control, hallucinations and psychosis.
Is it safe to drive while using CBD?
Yes, whilst we advise caution, our CBD products do not show up on roadside THC tests at recommended dosages due to the extremely small amount of THC left over during the extraction process.
What is the optimal potency for me? Are there any dangers of taking too much CBD?
Though there has never been a reported instance of a death relating to CBD consumption, we advise no more than 200mg of CBD to be taken daily.
Are CBD products lawful in the UK?
Under certain circumstances yes, have taken all required steps to make sure that our products are all legal.
Explore the Science of CBD and THC: Understanding the Key Differences:
This is the issue that confuses so many people. THC (“tetrahydrocannabinol”) is the notorious psychoactive constituent, or active compound, in marijuana that produces a euphoric high. In other words, it's what gets you high if you smoke marijuana. For this reason, it has been a controlled substance for many years in most parts of the world.
To do that it binds with specific receptors in the brain known as CB-1 receptors. These receptors are located across your central nervous system. CBD is a completely different molecule and it cannot bind to CB-1 receptors. Instead, it binds to CB-2 receptors in the tissues and cells located away from the central nervous system.
What distinguishes cannabis oil from hemp oil?
Hemp is a form of cannabis. So the oil, which can be cold pressed from the cannabis / hemp plant and its seeds, is called either cannabis oil or hemp oil. The names are interchangeable. Cannabis oil, Hemp oil can also be referred to as CBD oil; however, there is more than just CBD in our cannabis oils, as they also contain other cannabinoids like CBG, CBC, CBDa. There are also many "Hemp Oil" products on the market made from hemp seeds only. Oil from hemp seeds contains almost no cannabinoids (no CBD). This is why we like to call our oral CBD oil "cannabis oil".
Differentiating Hemp and Marijuana:
They are both Cannabis (this is the confusing part). Cannabis is a “genus” (scientific name for a group of species) under a wide family of plants called “Cannabaceae” (nerdy science name). There are several “species” of Cannabis, and Hemp and marijuana are two distinct species !

Differences between Raw, Winterised, Max, and Silver Seal?
A question that we get all the time, what is the difference between our product ranges.
Raw
Our original range, made with Raw Hemp Extract and Virgin Hemp Oil with added flavouring. This is the most natural and unprocessed range. We add a small amount of Cookie flavouring to this range to help with the deep earthy natural flavour of the extract. The extract in this product contains 15% CBD as well as up to 140 other cannabinoids and all the goodness from the plant material it is extracted from creating a complete supplement solution and an entourage effect.
We are improving this product and the new version is rolling out soon, the new version contains double the amount of CBD as the original at no extra cost to the consumer, we achieve this by combining Raw extract, our 3 time award winning high potency extract and our signature flavouring and virgin hemp oil.
Winterised THC Free
After Co2 extraction the extract for this range is treated using ethanol and cryogenics to remove much of the plant matter such as chlorophyll, some of the flavournoids and terpenes are reduced in this process and the heavier fats and lipids from the plant are also removed. A multi stage distillation process is completed after this and we are left with a clean, bright and golden oil that we mix with our Mocha flavouring and virgin hemp oil to produce our Winterised range, the final extract for this range contains 15% CBD. This range is THC Free.
Max
The extract that we use in our Winterised THC Free range is combined and blended with 3 more extracts and then put through a gentle heating and emulsification process. Following emulsification we further distil the extract until we reach a higher percentage of CBD than the original extract contained. This extract is much heavier and the beneficial acidic cannabinoids are fully decarboxilated. We add a little extra of the original extract to replace trace amounts of CBDA and other cannabinoids and emulsify the extract again. Once cooled to room temperature this custom extract resembles very heavy golden syrup and contains 50% CBD, we add our Mocha flavouring and virgin hemp oil to create the Max range from this extract. This award winner is making its way into more LVWell CBD products as time goes on and it becomes cheaper to produce.
Silver Seal
Our only 30ml range, this range contains both raw and winterised extracts to give the base CBD content and to add the trace cannabinoids required for the CBD to be used in your body. We then add a high potency distillate to the extract, flavouring and virgin hemp oil to produce large volume, high CBD products that have the right cannabinoids to make Sliver Seal a useful product for your body.
What is Full Spectrum, What is Broad Spectrum & What is Isolate?
CBD Isolate - This is when a product is made using CBD that is Isolated from all other compounds in cannabis, this is the only cannabinoid that is in the product.
Broad Spectrum CBD - This is when the product is made with more of a whole plant extract. There is multiple cannabinoids in the extract used in the product, this gives a slightly more hempy flavour, it is said that products that are broad spectrum are generally more effective as cannabinoids work in conjunction together and create something called the "entourage effect".
Full Spectrum CBD - This is when extract includes all forms of cannabinoids, as well as THC. There has been little or no effort to remove any cannabis compound. A lot of brands label their product full spectrum without knowing the difference, in the UK if a product is full spectrum it likely contains THC that has <0.01%THC legal THC content in the product.
